Embassy Suites by Hilton Las Vegas is hiring a Guest Service Representative to welcome guests, handle check-in/check-out, and respond to inquiries with a focus on service quality.

The role requires strong computer skills, the ability to work weekends/holidays, and a proactive, courteous attitude to ensure guest satisfaction at all times.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with MS Office and basic computer skills.
• Typing speed of 40+ wpm or faster.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn new web applications and systems.
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and complete standard check-in procedures daily, using manual and computerized methods.
• Answer inquiries, accept reservations in person, by email and by phone; assist with directions and local activities.
• Control and record financial transactions at the front desk.
• Maintain guest relations with timely, knowledgeable in-person and phone responses.
• Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Support department communications through log books and information sources.
• Assist other associates to contribute to overall hotel performance.
• Ensure safety by following sanitation procedures and reporting suspicious activity.

Job Description:

• Greets and completes standard check-in procedures for arriving guests daily, using both manual and computerized methods ensuring guest satisfaction
• Courteously answers inquiries and accepts reservations, in person, through email and telephone calls, and help guests with directions and area activities
• Controls and records financial transactions a front desk
• Maintains good customer relations by staying informed of all in-house and area functions in order to answer questions and concerns with timely and knowledgeable responses, in person and on telephone
• Maintains a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times
• Performs other duties as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by management
• Contributes and maintains established information and communication sources such as department and front desk log books to enhance department communications and operations
• Aids other associates and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and the hotel
• Ensure safety by following the safety and sanitation procedures and reporting suspicious activity to management
