Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking an Operator to ensure efficient communication within the hotel and to guests, delivering attentive customer service. You will handle calls, share information, and assist guests with voicemail, dispatch maintenance and housekeeping as needed.

The role emphasizes a professional appearance, strong English communication, and basic switchboard knowledge. A High School diploma is required; prior front desk experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic understanding of telephone switchboard and PBX equipment and systems.
• Ability to read and comprehend routine instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Ability to give high priority to customer service.
• Must maintain a professional appearance and a Can-Do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate switchboard, intercom and two-way radio to relay incoming, outgoing and interoffice calls and messages.
• Refer callers to resort personnel, sales or marketing or outside vendor and provide information as requested.
• Assist guests with voicemail.
• Dispatch maintenance and housekeeping staff to guest rooms as needed.
• Maintain positive guest and associate relationships and respond to inquiries to ensure guest satisfaction.
