Job summary

OTO Development is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead hotel teams, control wages and controllable expenses, and protect profit margins while maintaining guest satisfaction.

You will drive service excellence, supervise housekeeping and training, review financial reports, and build strong relationships with staff and guests to achieve top performance and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hotel management experience preferred.
• Food and Beverage experience preferred.
• Strong leadership experience with proven success in leading teams.
• Ability to coach, train, praise, and discipline employees effectively.
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Extensive financial knowledge and strong business acumen.
• Valid driver’s license from the appropriate state.
• Drive for results demonstrated in prior leadership roles.
• Action orientation to work efficiently toward objectives.
• Strong time management to meet commitments across departments.
• Customer focus to deliver optimal employee and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Coach and support hotel team to manage wages and controllable expenses and maintain profit margins.
• Manage costs within budgeted parameters across supplies, utilities, food & beverage, and labor.
• Ensure training across the property to support daily operations.
• Oversee housekeeping to ensure cleanliness and building functionality.
• Review financial reports to improve performance against budget and expenses.
• Foster open, collaborative relationships with direct reports and teams.
• Hire and develop team members with leadership potential.
• Drive guest satisfaction and serve as a guest advocate.
• Ensure property meets franchise standards and safety requirements.
