Job summary

Le Meridien NYC on Fifth Avenue seeks an energetic Director of Operations to guide daily hotel operations, leading Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B and other departments. You will work with the General Manager, ensuring superb guest experiences and high performance across teams.

The role requires a track record in hotel leadership, preference for Marriott-related experience, and a hands-on, inspirational management style. Competitive compensation and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive hotel leadership experience.
• Previous Operations Manager or Rooms Division leadership experience preferred.
• Marriott experience is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to inspire teams while maintaining a hands-on management style.
• Passion for hospitality and creating outstanding guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager with the day-to-day operation of the hotel.
• Lead Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and other operational departments as needed.
• Coach, mentor, and develop supervisors and associates to achieve exceptional performance.
• Monitor guest satisfaction scores and resolve guest concerns with professionalism and urgency.
• Help manage labor, expenses, and operational efficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards and company policies.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and achieving revenue and profitability goals.
• Serve as Manager on Duty and provide visible leadership throughout the hotel.
