Job summary

Highgate Hotels, LP is seeking a Hotel Manager to drive profitability through revenue generation, cost control, guest satisfaction, and employee development. The role emphasizes strong leadership, budget oversight, and adherence to Highgate SOPs.

You will supervise operations, mentor managers, participate in sales initiatives, and ensure training across departments while maintaining brand standards and PCI compliance. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
• Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings.

Responsibilities

• Participate in hotel sales efforts, including calling on top ten accounts, meeting clients, hosting luncheons and receptions, and meeting with on-site contacts daily/weekly/monthly.
• Tour the operating departments daily to ensure smooth operation and staffing; adjust via department heads as needed.
• Conduct weekly staff meetings and training sessions; review sales and operations plans.
• Hold monthly financial reviews with department managers and supervisors; ensure budgeted productivity and proper reporting.
• Oversee budget and monthly forecast processes; ensure adherence to Highgate SOPs.
• Ensure training in service standards across departments and compliance with payroll procedures.
• Inspect rooms weekly with Housekeeping Manager and Property Engineer; maintain PCI compliance with vendors and partners.
