Job summary

Arbor Lodging Management is seeking an Operations Manager to work with the General Manager to oversee day-to-day hotel operations, ensuring smooth service, guest satisfaction, and profitable performance.

You will lead multiple departments, implement SOPs, manage budgets, monitor revenue, and develop staff. This role requires strong communication, a practical hospitality mindset, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 to 4 years work experience in a hotel. Management experience is preferred but not required.
• Excellent revenue management skills; experience with budgets.
• P&L's and forecasting is preferred, but not required.
• Works with colleagues to share skills, knowledge, resources, and networks.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Motivated and professional in appearance and presentation.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day hotel operations to maximize profit.
• Develop and maintain procedures for accurate financial statements.
• Ensure SOPs are followed across departments.
• Prepare and discuss sales targets and service recovery.
• Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Inspect stores and departments for quality and hospitality.
• Lead regular operations meetings with department heads.
