Job summary

Courtyard by Marriott in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a Managing hotel operations leader to oversee Rooms & Guest Services Operations. This full-time, on-site role may include Front Office, Business Center, Recreation/Health Club, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage/Culinary and Engineering.

You will supervise staff, monitor standards, and work to maximize guest satisfaction and departmental financial performance. You will lead by example, mentor teammates, and translate goals into actionable plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in guest services or related area.
• 2-year degree with 2 years experience in guest services/front desk/housekeeping or related area.

Responsibilities

• Translates goals to the team as they relate to guest tracking and productivity.
• Communicates game plans to address needs and expand strengths.
• Leads by example demonstrating energy and enthusiasm.
• Assists employees in understanding guests’ changing needs and expectations.
• Meets semiannually with staff for one-to-one meetings.

Education

High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in guest services/front desk/housekeeping

2-year degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years experience in guest services/front desk/housekeeping
