Job summary

Hyatt Place Houston Galleria managed by Aimbridge Hospitality seeks an Operations Manager OEM to oversee daily hotel operations and supervise front- and back-of-house teams. The role coordinates Housekeeping, Engineering, F&B, PBX, Front Office and Banquets to ensure smooth service and profitability.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in Rooms or F&B, supervisory experience, and comfort with financial data. Exempt status and flexibility in hours are required for this role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years progressive experience in Rooms or F&B in a hotel or equivalent education
• Previous supervisory experience required
• Proficient in Windows Operating Systems
• Able to read and understand financial data and prepare basic reports
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a courteous and service-oriented manner
• Maintain regular attendance according to hotel standards
• Supervise and support multiple hotel departments to ensure efficient operations
• Assist in training and developing associates across departments
• Contribute to revenue generation, cost control, and profitability goals
• Participate in required M.O.D. coverage and property-wide safety procedures
• Engage in weekly meetings to address oversell settings and operational issues
