Job summary

Peachtree Hospitality is seeking a General Manager in the Ashburn, VA area to lead hotel operations with empathy, strong communication, and financial focus. You will drive guest satisfaction, oversee departments, and maintain brand standards across a multi-property portfolio.

Qualifications

• Current/prior hotel general manager experience or 3+ years leadership in rooms/operations or sales within major brands.
• Ability to defuse distressed associates and guests to the best outcome.
• Ability to learn systems technology.
• Displays professionalism and represents the brand well.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills required.
• Hospitality certifications such as CHA, CHRM, CHSP are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic planning to all departments to maximize guest satisfaction.
• Champion brand and company reputation to exceed performance standards.
• Contribute to financial forecasts and budgets.
• Analyze monthly P&L with regional accounting and operations teams.
• Optimize revenues (rooms, F&B) to maximize profitability.
• Provide training, development, coaching, and mentorship to the team.
• Recruit top talent through internal and external channels.
• Attend weekly revenue meetings with the regional revenue team.
• Handle reporting as required by company, brand or other requests.
• Engage with the local community through volunteer activities.
• Manage hotel-specific accounting tasks including payroll with accuracy.
