Job summary

Dimension-Hospitality,-LL is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Destin, FL to support the General Manager and oversee daily hotel operations across front desk, housekeeping, F&B, and maintenance. You will lead department leaders, drive guest satisfaction, and contribute to financial performance.

You are a visible, hands-on leader with strong hotel operations knowledge, excellent communication and coaching skills, and the ability to manage staffing, training, and performance.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel leadership experience (2+ years) preferred.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations and service standards.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional, dependable, and able to lead by example.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Passionate about hospitality and building strong teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager with daily hotel operations and leadership tasks.
• Oversee department leaders and help ensure smooth interdepartmental communication.
• Assist with scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Maintain guest satisfaction by resolving issues and supporting service recovery.
• Monitor hotel cleanliness, safety, and brand compliance.
• Assist with financial performance, budgeting, and cost controls.
• Lead by example to maintain a positive, professional environment.
• Support implementation of hotel initiatives, procedures, and standards.
• Ensure staffing levels support service needs across the hotel.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed.
