Job summary

McKibbon seeks an Assistant General Manager to partner with the General Manager to oversee daily hotel operations in Tallahassee. You will drive guest satisfaction, brand quality, budget adherence, labor optimization, and associate engagement while upholding McKibbon’s Guiding Principles.

You will train staff, supervise teams, ensure safety and compliance, collaborate with HR, Accounting, Revenue Management, and Sales, participate in meetings, and step in for the GM when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience leading hotel teams to deliver exceptional guest service.
• Ability to implement brand procedures for cost control and inventory management.
• Proven track record of maintaining policies and standards across departments.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills across diverse teams.
• Leadership development of staff and positive relationships with partners.

Responsibilities

• Oversee property operations to ensure guest satisfaction and service quality.
• Lead budgeting, labor, and associate engagement to meet goals.
• Train, onboard, and review performance of staff; schedule coverage.
• Ensure safety, security, and incident reporting at all times.
• Collaborate with HR, Accounting, Revenue Management, and Sales to achieve goals.
• Attend hotel and corporate meetings; step in for General Manager when needed.
