Paragon Hotel Company is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee daily operations across Front Office, Housekeeping, and Maintenance in Blythewood, SC. This role focuses on maximizing room revenues, staff leadership, and ensuring brand standards.

The successful candidate will have strong supervisory experience, knowledge of hotel operations, and a commitment to outstanding guest service. This position requires flexibility, long hours, and a focus on safety and financial controls.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in supervising (at least) eight associates at a branded, quality hotel preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• At least three years experience in the hotel industry is preferred.
• Experience in accounting, is preferred.
• Must display professionalism and have characteristics of honesty and trustworthiness.
• Must have excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Knowledge in Housekeeping, Maintenance, and a Food & Beverage operation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate day-to-day operations of Front Office, Housekeeping, and Maintenance to maximize room revenues.
• Oversee personnel, budget performance, and financial controls across departments.
• Ensure adherence to mission, values, and brand standards.
• Maintain 24/7 availability where required and flexibility for long hours.
• Ensure safety, security, and operational procedures are followed.
