Job summary

LBA Hospitality seeks an experienced Sales Executive in Pooler, GA to develop new business for an assigned hotel and maximize revenue. You will work with the General Manager, Regional Revenue Manager and Regional Director of Sales to merchandise revenue potential and ensure a memorable guest experience.

Responsibilities include handling inquiries, negotiating contracts, booking to hit budgets, pursuing new accounts with outside calls, and using the sales system to manage accounts and reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; BS/BA preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Direct outside hotel sales experience and ability to develop a market.
• Knowledge of outside sales tactics and local market preferred.
• Experience with multiple hotel brands and group/corporate sales is a plus.
• Ability to use sales management systems and CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Handle inquiry calls, proposals, negotiations, and contracts.
• Books business to meet monthly revenue budgets and related targets.
• Prospect actively with weekly calls and outside visits to win new business.
• Involve General Manager on key appointments and corporate calls.
• Use the property sales system to manage accounts, activities, and reports.
• Maintain active memberships in local industry organizations.
• Develop, present and defend business cases for group and event opportunities.
• Target key companies and decision makers to expand the customer base.
