Job summary

Hyatt Regency Bellevue on Seattle's Eastside is seeking an Assistant Director of Operations to support Rooms Operations and guide Front Office, Guest Services, Housekeeping, Laundry, and Eques. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining Hyatt standards.

The ideal candidate will bring strong rooms operations experience, coach leaders and colleagues, use Agile Ways of Working, and collaborate across departments to drive service quality,

Qualifications

• Four years or more of progressive hotel operations experience.
• Leadership experience in Front Office, Guest Services, Housekeeping, Laundry, Rooms Division, or a high-volume hotel operations environment.
• Experience working closely with Front Office and Housekeeping leadership in a large, complex, full-service hotel.
• Food and Beverage experience preferred, particularly breakfast service or F&B leadership.
• Prior department head or senior Rooms Operations leadership experience required.
• Strong understanding of Front Office, Guest Services, Housekeeping, Laundry, guest service, service recovery, labor management, scheduling, budgeting, and hotel operations.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, coach, and develop managers, supervisors, and hourly colleagues.
• Knowledge of Agile Ways of Working.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and operational support for Front Office, Guest Services, Housekeeping, Laundry, Eques, and hotel operations.
• Partner with area leaders to ensure consistent execution, service delivery, colleague development, and operational performance.
• Assist Director of Operations with short- and long-term operational planning.
• Participate in the Manager on Duty program and cover shifts as needed.
• Coach, counsel, train, recognize, and develop managers, supervisors, and hourly colleagues in alignment with Hyatt service standards.
• Support guest satisfaction goals and service recovery opportunities.
• Apply Agile Ways of Working to improve communication, remove barriers, and strengthen operations.
