Job summary

Valley Hospitality Services is seeking an experienced Administrative and Operations support professional to assist the Hotel General Manager in Columbus, GA. This role involves overseeing daily hotel operations in the absence of the GM and ensuring a compliant, safe environment for guests and staff.

You will participate in interviews, on-site training, and staff development while enforcing policy, reviewing performance, and coordinating with Corporate on financial reporting.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of hospitality experience preferred.
• Must communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Ability to interpret financial information and data.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily hotel operations in the General Manager's absence.
• Assist with interviews, hiring, and on-site training for new employees.
• Enforce company policies to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
• Ensure daily deposits are made and forward accounting information weekly.
• Lead monthly department meetings and review hotel performance.
• Manage Front Desk scheduling and oversee guest and employee incidents.
