Job summary

The Ivy Hospitality Assistant General Manager will oversee hotel operations to maximize guest satisfaction and financial performance. You will manage front desk, housekeeping, reservations, and guest services while driving ADR, occupancy, and revenue in line with company standards.

You will lead and coach department leaders, review budgets, and ensure safety compliance and smooth cross‑department collaboration to deliver a superior guest experience.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of budget management, cost controls, and financial statements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels of staff and guests.
• Ability to lead and develop department leaders while maintaining high service standards.
• Knowledge of local area, hotel services, and facilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate activities across front desk, housekeeping, reservations, guest service, security, and maintenance.
• Maximize ADR and occupancy levels and align with sales/performance goals.
• Coach and train department leaders to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
• Understand and manage budgets, staffing guidelines, and cost controls to improve profitability.
• Ensure safety compliance and proper handling of keys and security procedures.
• Prepare and review weekly/monthly reports and maintain effective interdepartmental communication.
