Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking an Operations Manager for Residence Inn Ontario, CA. The role focuses on planning and directing front office operations and supporting F&B, housekeeping, and engineering to improve productivity.

You will balance inventory, monitor guest requests and complaints, and ensure lobby and service areas meet high standards. Strong supervisory skills and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of progressive hotel experience.
• Previous supervisory responsibilities.
• Proficient in Windows, company-approved spreadsheets and word processing.
• Effective communication with employees and guests.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director and Assistant Director of Front Office with managing the Front Office operation.
• Provide support to other departments in the hotel (F&B, Housekeeping and Engineering).
• Provide strong lobby presence to assist front desk agents and guests.
• Balance the hotel room type inventory.
• Ensure lobby, mezzanine, and F&B areas meet Paramount standards.
• Handle guest requests and complaints during shift.
• Manage payroll, attendance ADP, and OT call-arounds.
• Coach, train, and counsel hourly associates; administer discipline as needed.
• Occasionally perform Night Audit functions and produce reports.
