Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh Downtown is seeking a Night Manager to oversee hotel operations during evening hours, ensure guest service excellence, and provide overnight coverage for the Night Audit as needed.

The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, with experience in hotel front desk and Night Audit. Evening shifts, weekends, and holidays are expected.

Formación

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of Front Desk, Night Audit or supervisory hotel experience preferred.
• Leadership experience in hotel operations strongly preferred.
• Hilton brand experience preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee evening and overnight hotel operations.
• Perform Night Audit duties: balance transactions, reconcile accounts, prepare reports.
• Lead Front Desk Team and provide coaching.
• Ensure exceptional guest experiences; address requests and service recoveries.
• Act as Manager on Duty during evening hours and make decisions.
• Monitor safety and coordinate with emergency personnel.
• Complete nightly property inspections for cleanliness and brand standards.
• Assist guests with arrivals, departures, reservations and billing inquiries.
• Ensure accurate accounting procedures and cash handling.
• Maintain communication with daytime management about night operations.
• Assist with training Front Desk and Night Audit staff.
• Support other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.

As the Night Manager,you will oversee hotel operations during the evening hours, ensuring exceptionalguest service, operational efficiency, and the safety and security of guests,Team Members, and the property. You will serve as the Manager on Duty duringyour shift, providing leadership to the front office team while supportingnightly operations. This position will also provide overnight coverage for theNight Audit shift as needed.

Some duties will include:

• Overseeall hotel operations during evening and overnight hours as needed.
• Asneeded, perform the Night Audit process, including balancing dailytransactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing daily reports.
• Leadand support Front Desk Team Members while providing coaching and guidance asneeded.
• Ensureexceptional guest experiences by responding promptly to guest requests,concerns, and service recovery situations.
• Serveas the primary Manager on Duty during evening hours and make sound operationaldecisions independently.
• Monitorhotel safety and security, respond to emergencies, and coordinate withemergency personnel when necessary.
• Completenightly property inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and brand standardsare maintained.
• Assistwith guest arrivals, departures, reservations, billing inquiries, and otherFront Desk responsibilities.
• Ensureaccounting procedures, cash handling, and billing reconciliation are completedaccurately.
• Maintainclear communication with the daytime management team regarding evening/overnightactivities and any operational concerns.
• Assistwith training and development of Front Desk and Night Audit Team Members.
• Supportother departments as needed to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

Education and Experience:

• HighSchool diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimumof two (2) years of hotel Front Desk, Night Audit, r supervisory experiencepreferred.
• Previousleadership experience in hotel operations is strongly preferred.
• HiltonPEP and Hilton brand experience preferred but not required.
