Qualifications

• Hotel experience required.
• Knowledge of accounting operations (AR/AP, etc.).
• Ability to handle guest and employee concerns professionally.
• Able to input information using a moderately complex computer.
• Read, write and speak English well; strong telephone etiquette.
• Good hearing and vision to detect emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily revenue reports by auditing Micros tapes/journals to break down revenue, covers, tips, and settlements.
• Make corrections and adjustments and handle computer problems during the shift.
• Input revenue/expenses/allowances to generate daily reports.
• Balance all revenue and settlement accounts nightly; reset system for next day operations.
• Ensure all reports and backup vouchers are complete and filed properly.
• Review and correct discrepancies in the Front Desk System.
• Coordinate with front desk and restaurants/bars closing to reset totals for next-day operations.
• Greet customers with a friendly welcome; provide accurate information on hours and attractions.
• Perform any related duties as requested by the manager.
