Job summary

Hyatt Place Austin Downtown is seeking a Night Auditor to support front desk operations, greet guests, and ensure accurate financial records. In this role you will balance daily transactions, produce audits, and explain reports while maintaining guest privacy.

An ideal candidate shows strong customer service, attention to detail, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• A passion for customer service.
• Ability to work independently while supporting hotel operations.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Previous hospitality experience is preferred, but not required.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
• The ability to lift, carry, or move up to 10 lbs. regularly and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests efficiently, courteously, and professionally at front desk.

• Maintain privacy and confidentiality of all guest and hotel information.
• Respond to and resolve guest concerns or complaints.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do

• A Gallery Night Auditor will assist guests efficiently, courteously, and professionally in all front desk related functions
• Provide excellent guest service
• Balance all hotel and restaurant transactions daily, including credit cards, cash, and change funds
• Consistently follow all credit, cash-handling, and accounting procedures
• Run various audits and reports and record all revenues and statistics accurately
• Read, analyze, interpret, and effectively explain items such as common reports, guest folios and emergency procedures
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality of all guest and hotel information
• Effectively respond to and resolve guest concerns or complaints
• Perform other duties as assigned
