Texas Hotel Management is seeking a Night Auditor to ensure accurate nightly financials and provide exceptional guest service during the overnight shift. You will handle check-ins and check-outs, balance cash drawers, and produce daily reports for the morning team.

The role requires strong numerical and communication skills, knowledge of PMS and accounting software, and the ability to work weekends and holidays in a hotel environment.

Qualifications

The Night Auditor is responsible for handling nightly audits, reconciling hotel financial transactions, and providing front desk services during the overnight shift, ensuring both accounting accuracy and excellent guest service at the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform nightly audits and prepare accurate financial reports for the hotel
• Balance hotel cash drawers, credit card transactions, and other payments
• Check-in and check-out hotel guests efficiently, providing a welcoming experience
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns during the night shift
• Monitor hotel security and ensure safety procedures are followed
• Maintain detailed hotel logs and shift reports, communicating important information to morning staff
• Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other hotel departments for smooth operations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in hospitality or hotel management/accounting preferred
• Previous experience in a hotel front desk or night audit preferred
• Knowledge of hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and accounting software
• Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills for hotel operations
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays in a hotel setting
