Job summary

Hyatt Place Austin Downtown is hiring a Night Auditor to own the overnight shift and deliver day-one benefits. You will balance daily transactions, run audits, and support front desk operations for guests in a fast-paced hotel environment.

We seek friendly, detail-oriented individuals with a customer-service mindset who can work nights and weekends. Day-one benefits and a path to growth are offered at this Hyatt location.

Qualifications

• Passion for customer service and guest satisfaction.
• Ability to work independently while supporting hotel operations.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Hospitality experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Physical ability to lift up to 10 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests efficiently and courteously at the front desk.
• Balance hotel and restaurant transactions daily including cards and cash.
• Follow credit, cash-handling, and accounting procedures.
• Run audits and record revenues and statistics accurately.
• Explain reports, folios, and procedures clearly to guests.
• Maintain guest and hotel information privacy and confidentiality.
• Respond to guest concerns and resolve issues promptly.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

What You'll Do

• A Gallery Night Auditor will assist guests efficiently, courteously, and professionally in all front desk related functions
• Balance all hotel and restaurant transactions daily, including credit cards, cash, and change funds
• Consistently follow all credit, cash-handling, and accounting procedures
• Run various audits and reports and record all revenues and statistics accurately
• Read, analyze, interpret, and effectively explain items such as common reports, guest folios and emergency procedures
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality of all guest and hotel information
• Effectively respond to and resolve guest concerns or complaints
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You Will Bring

• A Night Auditor will have a passion for customer service

• Previous hospitality experience is preferred, but not required
• A willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary
