Job summary

Homewood Suites Pittsburgh Downtown is seeking a night auditor to join our hospitality team. You’ll handle front desk duties, reconcile daily financials, and prepare reports for hotel management while delivering friendly, guest-focused service.

Requirements include a high school diploma (some college preferred), computer proficiency with accounting or reservation software, and flexible overnight hours. Prior hospitality experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process administrative, bookkeeping, and accounting procedures as required.
• Reconcile credit card transactions, occupancy, room charges, and cash drawer after audit.
• Ensure each guest has a pleasant stay and address inquiries and concerns.
• Perform front desk duties such as reservations, check-ins, and coordinating housekeeping and maintenance.
• Produce and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports to management.

• Process additional administrative, bookkeeping. and accounting procedures as required
• Reconcile all credit card transactions, financial records, occupancy percentages, room charges, final bill preparation, and cash drawer activity after a thorough audit process
• Make sure every hotel guest has a pleasant stay
• Execute front desk clerk duties as required, such as processing reservations and check-ins, delegating housekeeping, security, and service requests, responding to guest inquiries, and resolving guest complaints as needed
• Produce and distribute daily weekly, and monthly reports to hotel management, department heads, and general manager
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are required
• Diploma or equivalent from high school is required; some college is desired
• Computer proficiency is required; experience with accounting or reservation software is preferred
• Flexible overnight hours are required
• Front desk clerk duties, guest services, night auditor or previous hospitality experience is preferred but not required

Compensation

16.50 hourly
