Job summary

Tru by Hilton Madison West is seeking a Hotel Night Auditor to balance nightly transactions and prepare shift reports while delivering friendly service to guests. The role requires overnight work from 11:00 p.m.

to 7:00 a.m., with starting pay of $17.00–$19.00 per hour and potential increases for experienced candidates. Open to flexible availability across Mondays, weekends and holidays, this position is part of a team recognized as a 2025 USA Today Top Workplace Winner.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability on Monday to Friday, weekends and holidays.
• Overnight availability from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• Strong verbal and written communication and guest service mindset.
• Ability to balance nightly financial transactions with accuracy.
• Relevant front desk or hotel operations experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Daily audit, balance, post and report on front desk, rooms, and food and beverage cash and credit operations.
• Greet and interact with guests in a warm, friendly and professional manner.
• Provide high level of service by anticipating guests’ needs and responding promptly.
• Handle guest service requests and complaints to meet guest expectations.
• Make reservations, check-in and check-out guests, process payments.
• Answer phones, maintain a cash drawer, and operate office equipment.
• Follow safety, security and emergency procedures to ensure guest and property safety.

Our friendly and attentive Hotel Night Auditor is committed to going the extra mile to deliver high-quality service to our guests while performing nightly balancing duties, daily paperwork and shift reports related to the property's business transactions.How do I make an impact on my team?

• Daily audit, balance, post and report on front desk, rooms, and food and beverage cash and credit operations ensuring accuracy of the property's financial and accounting records


• Greet and interact with guests in a warm, friendly and professional manner


• Provide highest level of service by anticipating, listening attentively, and responding promptly to guests’ needs


• Promptly handle guest service requests and guest complaints to meet and exceed guest expectations


• Make reservations, check-in and check-out guests, process payments


• Perform tasks such as answering phones, maintain a cash drawer, operate office equipment


• Ensure guest and property safety by knowing all safety, security and emergency procedures
