Job summary

The Tallison Hotel, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel in Carmel, IN, seeks a dependable Maintenance Worker to join our Engineering Team. You will perform routine and preventative maintenance, support HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general building repairs, and help maintain guest rooms, public areas, and event spaces to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the hotel.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, emergencies, and guest needs.
• Assist with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and general building repairs.
• Inspect and maintain guest rooms, suites, public areas, meeting/event spaces, fitness areas, indoor pool areas, restaurant/bar areas, back-of-house areas, and exterior spaces.
• Repair and maintain doors, locks, fixtures, furniture, lighting, appliances, and hotel equipment.
• Complete assigned maintenance work orders accurately and efficiently.
• Assist the Engineering team with preventative maintenance inspections and scheduled projects.
• Maintain maintenance tools, equipment, supplies, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
• Communicate maintenance concerns, safety issues, and equipment problems to the Engineering leadership team.
• Assist with property improvement projects, repairs, inspections, and renovations as needed.
• Support outside vendors and contractors while working on hotel property.
• Assist with maintaining hotel event and meeting spaces in excellent working condition.
• Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, accountability, and exceptional service.
• Help ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards, safety requirements, and company policies.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning property that exceeds guest expectations.

Pay Range: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour (Compensation is commensurate with qualifications and overall experience)
