Job summary

Hampton Inn & Suites - Montgomery is seeking a dependable Maintenance Worker to join our Engineering Team. You will perform routine maintenance, respond to requests, and assist with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building repairs to keep the property safe, clean, and guest-ready.

You will inspect guest rooms and public areas, maintain doors and fixtures, and support with projects and vendor coordination while upholding Hilton brand standards and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the hotel.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, emergencies, and guest needs.
• Assist with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and general building repairs.
• Inspect and maintain guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, and exterior spaces.
• Repair and maintain doors, locks, fixtures, furniture, lighting, appliances, and hotel equipment.
• Complete assigned maintenance work orders accurately and efficiently.
• Assist the Engineering team with preventative maintenance inspections and scheduled projects.
• Maintain maintenance tools, equipment, supplies, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
• Communicate maintenance concerns, safety issues, and equipment problems to the Engineering leadership team.
• Assist with property improvement projects, repairs, inspections, and renovations as needed.
• Support outside vendors and contractors while working on hotel property.
• Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, accountability, and exceptional service.
• Help ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards, safety requirements, and company policies.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning property that exceeds guest expectations.
