Job summary

ESA Management, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure property equipment functions, keep premises in pristine condition, and repair guest rooms promptly. The role follows the Green Shield Binder and is aligned with management directions to complete tasks on time and to standards.

Responsibilities include cleaning and upkeep across hotel areas, handling repairs via work orders, performing preventative maintenance, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Read and speak English proficiently.
• Understand safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedures, and company guidelines.
• Write routine reports and correspondence.
• Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Use units of measurement for weight, volume and distance.
• Apply good judgment at all times.
• Assist with resolving guest issues in accordance with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and promotes a 100% commitment to guest/associate experience.
• Works with minimal supervision while performing duties to satisfaction and within standards.
• Responds to guest requests with diligent follow-through per guidelines/procedures.
• Performs out of room cleaning to keep premises pristine (trash removal, cleaning, snow/ice removal as applicable).
• Repairs listed on work orders promptly and professionally.
• Completes preventative maintenance inspections and repairs as directed.
• Follows Green Shield Inspection schedule to complete tasks timely per standards.
• Maintains records (PM deficiencies, inspections, Life Safety, Elevator, non-guest room logs).
• Follows workflow on Green Shield Schedule and uses SOPs as references.
• Keeps maintenance area clean and organized; manages tool inventory daily.
• Maintains boiler, electric, HVAC, fire sprinkler rooms per standards and ordinances.
• Ensures fire safety equipment is operational and inspected.
• Complies with OSHA/ADA policies; safety focused.
• Maintains pool/spa as applicable and in compliance with policies/ordinances.
• Assists with emergencies at property or sister sites when directed.
• Monitors and follows up with outside vendors as directed.
