Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months of maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Hotel maintenance experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC, electrical and/or plumbing certification preferred.
• Flexible to work day shifts, early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on guest rooms, grounds and public spaces on a scheduled basis.
• Complete work orders from guests and hotel associates and record.
• Assist with electrical systems checks (air conditioning controls, lighting, TVs) and minor repairs.
• Repair hotel equipment including appliances, kitchen, laundry, boilers, HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Service the hotel pool, including chemical testing and filter cleaning.
• Refurbish furniture and fixtures in guest rooms, including painting and finishing as needed.
• Operate and maintain grounds equipment and landscape tools seasonally.
• Remove trash daily from sidewalks, grounds, landscaping and parking lots.
• Provide friendly, prompt service to guests and associates per company standards.
