Job summary

Extended Stay America, Inc. in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure property equipment functions, keep premises in pristine condition, and maintain guest rooms in good repair.

You will follow Green Shield Binder guidelines and work with management to complete tasks timely and safely. You will perform routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and upkeep of fire safety systems, while coordinating with vendors as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and promotes a 100% commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests and associates.
• Performs cleaning and repairs to keep the premises in pristine condition as outlined in the Green Shield Binder.
• Responds to and assists with all guest requests with diligent follow-through in accordance with company guidelines and procedures.
• Performs the out of room cleaning to ensure premises are maintained in pristine condition.
• Performs repairs listed on work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Completes preventative maintenance inspections and repairs as outlined in the Green Shield Binder.
• Maintains records as outlined within the Green Shield Binder (PM deficiencies, inspections, life safety, etc.).
• Follows the Green Shield Schedule and uses SOPs to complete tasks per standards.
• Maintains organized and clean maintenance area and safeguards all tool inventory.
• Ensures fire safety equipment is operational and inspections are current.
• Assists with cleaning hotel areas as assigned and maintains overall hotel cleanliness.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• Maintains and follows safety policies including OSHA/ADA.
