Job summary

Engage Hospitality in San Bruno, CA seeks a skilled Hotel Maintenance Technician to perform general upkeep across guest rooms, public areas, and building systems.

You will handle electrical, plumbing, HVAC and safety inspections, respond to maintenance requests, and assist other departments as needed while maintaining safety standards.

The role requires physical labor, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and flexibility to work across multiple properties, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and building systems.
• Replace light bulbs and maintain proper lighting throughout the property.
• Inspect fire safety equipment (including exit signs and fire doors) is in proper working condition.
• Inspect ventilation systems and report or address any issues.
• Perform general maintenance and preventative maintenance on hotel equipment (e.g., washers, dryers, HVAC units, televisions, and other appliances).
• Complete minor repairs, including painting, patchwork, and general upkeep.
• Perform basic plumbing repairs, such as fixing leaks or unclogging drains.
• Respond to maintenance requests and prioritize work orders appropriately.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance areas in a clean and organized manner.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance work as required by Company policy and applicable regulations.
• Respond to emergency situations and participate in on-call duties as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment.
• Assist other departments, including housekeeping, as needed; and
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
