Job summary

Peregrine Hospitality in Pooler, GA is seeking a Maintenance Tech to perform repairs, maintenance and service requests in accordance with hotel standards. You will assist in other areas of Engineering as assigned and coordinate with supervisors.

Required: minimum 2 years in maintenance or facilities, and a certificate from college or technical school in facilities, maintenance or engineering. Must lift up to 100 lbs and work flexible shifts as needed. Competitive hourly pay at $19.50.

Qualifications

• Education: Required certificate from college or technical school in facilities, maintenance or engineering or a combination of experience
• Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience in maintenance, facilities or engineering; Hotel experience preferred
• Additional: Will be required to work flexible scheduled shifts based on business needs

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance tasks as assigned by Chief Engineer.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
• Repair, install and refinish room furnishings as needed.
• Respond to guest maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Follow hotel policies and preventive maintenance schedules.
