Job summary

Ivy Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Technician to help keep our hotel operations efficient and safe. This hands‑on role focuses on maintaining facilities, addressing repairs, and supporting preventative maintenance to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

The technician will work with multiple departments to uphold quality, safety, and service standards at Ivy Hospitality properties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• Minimum of one year of general maintenance or facilities management experience; hotel experience is a plus.
• Proficient in basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform demanding tasks; lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Flexibility to work weekends/holidays/on-call; drug test and MVR may be required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance across public areas, guest rooms, meeting spaces, back‑of‑house facilities, and grounds.
• Perform repairs on guest room amenities such as televisions, phones, fixtures, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Execute preventative maintenance programs with daily checks and scheduled repairs.
• Maintain hotel aesthetics by repairing interiors, painting, and flooring repairs.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly to minimize guest impact and downtime.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
