Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure that property equipment functions properly and guest rooms are kept in good repair. The role involves following the Green Shield Binder procedures and management directions to complete tasks promptly and up to company standards.

You will perform routine maintenance, respond to guest requests, and assist with emergencies or vendor coordination, maintaining a clean, organized work area and complying with safety and security

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains property equipment and premises in pristine condition.
• Responds to guest requests and follows company procedures.
• Performs preventive maintenance and repairs per Green Shield Binder.
• Keeps accurate records for PM deficiencies, inspections and logs.
• Maintains organized maintenance areas and tools inventory.
• Follows safety policies and local ordinances; assists with emergencies and vendor coordination.
