Job summary

Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine, TX is seeking an Engineer 2 to oversee day-to-day engineering operations across the lodge, including project management, life safety, and preventative maintenance of guestrooms, public spaces, equipment, buildings and grounds. You will troubleshoot and repair equipment, coordinate with shifts, ensure safety, maintain records, and follow park operating procedures.

A technical degree and trades certifications are preferred, with strong computer and driving skills and

Qualifications

Technical degree or trade-related qualifications required or preferred.
Experience in hospitality, healthcare or related industry is a plus.
Trade certifications in HVAC and/or electrical are advantageous.
Proficient computer skills: database software, internet tools, order processing, MS Office.
Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and perform basic repair on equipment, plumbing, electrical items and guestrooms.
Communicate daily activities and issues across shifts using approved tools.
Ensure work is safe, timely, and compliant with safety standards and equipment use.
Maintain safety procedures knowledge; attend required safety trainings and updates.
Keep service records for mechanical and structural systems and follow SOPs.
Support park operations, timekeeping, employee relations and documentation.
