Job summary

PM Hotel Group's Cambria Pearl Hotel in Portland, OR is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to handle maintenance and repair of hotel equipment across kitchens, laundry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and guest rooms with minimal downtime.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and at least one year of trade-related training in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, or building maintenance, plus familiarity with basic hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year of trade-related training in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry or building maintenance.
• Basic hand and power tools knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair hotel equipment across kitchen, laundry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and guest rooms.
• Minimize downtime by performing timely maintenance and repairs.
• Inspect and replace components; ensure safe operation and compliance.
• Follow safety and reporting procedures for hazardous materials.
• Secure the building and monitor security systems as needed.
