Job summary

Drury Plaza Hotel in Saint Paul is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to keep our property safe and running smoothly, handling plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and more. You will perform repairs, maintain records, and ensure a welcoming, well-maintained environment for guests and team members.

You will also train Maintenance Tech I staff, support safety programs, and collaborate with management to meet department needs.

Qualifications

• Advanced maintenance knowledge across systems and equipment.
• Ability to train Maintenance Tech I team members.
• Knowledge of water chemistry, filtration, and related systems.
• Experience developing and monitoring ergonomic, emergency-response, and injury-prevention programs.
• Electrical and plumbing knowledge for building maintenance.
• English communication (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs on plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, light carpentry, painting, and HVAC systems.
• Develop and monitor safety programs compliant with regulations (ergonomic, emergency response, injury prevention).
• Keep detailed records and reports.
• Provide ongoing training to Maintenance Tech I team members.
• Collaborate with management to recruit, interview, and schedule department needs.
• Ensure exceptional guest experiences with a +1 Service attitude.
