Job summary

DoubleTree Phoenix Midtown is seeking a Maintenance Technician to operate and maintain hotel mechanical and electrical systems on-site in the Phoenix Midtown area. You will conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshoot HVAC and associated equipment, and repair kitchen, laundry, refrigeration, boilers, and plumbing throughout the property.

Candidates should have prior hotel engineering experience or relevant vocational training, be able to read blueprints, and demonstrate solid communication

Qualifications

• Hotel engineering experience preferred.
• Vocational training/associate's degree or certification in relevant trades.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings.
• Strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate central HVAC and mechanical equipment safely per procedures.
• Repair and maintain kitchen, laundry, refrigeration, boilers, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and pneumatic problems efficiently.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance regularly.
