Job summary

Maintenance Technician role at DoubleTree Phoenix Midtown to operate and maintain hotel systems including HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing and electrical networks. You will work in a fast-paced hotel environment, ensuring guest comfort and safety.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, quick repairs, reading blueprints, and coordinating with other departments. This is a full-time, on-site position with access to hotel facilities and amenities.

Qualifications

• Hotel engineering experience required, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and commercial kitchen.
• State certification or licensure where required.
• Read and understand blueprints, schematic drawings and technical parts breakdown.
• Good verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate central HVAC and mechanical equipment safely and efficiently.
• Repair and maintain food production, kitchen, laundry, ice machines, refrigeration, boilers, plumbing, electrical and gas systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and pneumatic problems and repair cost-effectively.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance continuously.
