Job summary

Hotel Equities and Courtyard Marriott of Jonesboro, AR, seek a Maintenance Technician I to ensure safe, efficient operation of hotel facilities and to perform routine maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems. You will address guest requests, log work, and coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs.

The role requires good mechanical knowledge, safety focus, and the ability to work with a team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma / Secondary qualification or equivalent.
• One year of related maintenance experience.
• Experience with Marriott is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on hotel rooms, equipment, fixtures, and systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
• Respond promptly to guest and team member maintenance requests with professionalism and urgency.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Collaborate with external vendors and contractors as needed for specialized repairs.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are maintained in a clean, organized, and safe manner.
