Job summary

Meyer Jabara Hotels, LLC seeks a Maintenance Engineer to perform skilled maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and general upkeep to ensure guest rooms and property are maintained to the highest standards.

The role requires a friendly, service-oriented approach when working with guests, associates and vendors, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Trade school or related coursework preferred.
• Experience in hotel maintenance or customer service preferred.
• 1–2 years in HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing or electrical trades.
• Any required licenses specific to the property.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing and painting tasks.
• Repair and inspect guest rooms and public areas to hotel standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Maintain preventive maintenance records and logs.
• Coordinate with vendors and supervise contractors when needed.
