Job summary

Great Wolf Lodge is seeking a Maintenance Technician 1 to oversee day-to-day engineering operations across the lodge. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, project coordination, and working with vendors to keep guestrooms, spaces, equipment, and grounds in top condition.

Qualifications

• Technical Degree or equivalent technical training required.
• Hospitality, healthcare or related industry experience preferred.
• Trade-related certifications in HVAC or electrical are a plus.
• Physical ability to move/lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights.
• Proficiency with databases, internet tools, order processing systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment in guestrooms, public spaces and facilities.
• Identify shut-offs and utility shut-offs for buildings and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical components and guestroom items.
• Communicate daily activities and issues across shifts using approved systems.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain records for mechanical and structural systems.
• Complete daily/weekly/monthly documentation and SOPs for park operations.
