Job summary

Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg is seeking an Aquatics Technician II to oversee daily engineering operations within the lodge. You will manage preventative maintenance, repair guestroom and public-area equipment, coordinate with vendors, and help maintain safety and building systems.

The role requires technical training or degree, HVAC/electrical certifications preferred, and a capable team player who can document activities, follow SOPs, and support a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or related training required.
• Hospitality, healthcare or related experience preferred.
• Trade-related certifications in HVAC and/or electrical preferred.
• Must be able to move, lift and carry up to 50 pounds; climb stairs and work at heights.
• Computer skills with database/internet software and MS Office required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform basic repair on equipment (pump/motor, plumbing, electrical, guestroom items).
• Communicate daily activities and issues to other shifts using approved methods.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and efficiently per safety standards.
• Maintain knowledge of departmental safety procedures and attend trainings.
• Keep service records on mechanical and structural systems.
• Follow SOPs for park operation, timekeeping and safety; complete daily/weekly/monthly docs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
