Job summary

Tandem Hospitality Group, LLC is seeking an Engineer for the Hotel Longmont location. The role supports the Chief Engineer to preserve the building's operational condition and safety, with a practical, detail-oriented approach.

It requires autonomy and responsibility while maintaining health guidelines. The Engineer will handle routine mechanical, electrical, heating, and plumbing maintenance, plus minor repairs and preventative programs in guest areas and back of house.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to Chief Engineer/Maintenance Supervisor.
• Survey building and repair mechanical systems to ensure health and safety standards.
• Perform maintenance of all electrical systems.
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality.
• Perform manual repairs (locks, fixtures, windows).
• Conduct ongoing room preventative maintenance program.
• Resolve maintenance problems, complaints, and work orders.
• General upkeep (landscaping, caulking, painting).
• Inspect property to identify current needs.
• Work with Housekeeping to ensure room equipment is functioning properly.
• Adhere to company standards and conduct policies.
