Job summary

Kasa is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Lakeshore Chicago on a part-time basis. You will oversee on-the-ground operations, manage equipment, and serve as the face of Kasa at the property. The role reports to the Operations Manager and partners with the Property Operations support and Guest Experience teams.

The position requires 2+ years in hotel maintenance, HVAC/electrical/plumbing certifications, and the ability to lift 25–50 pounds. Flexible hours include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hotel maintenance or related experience.
• HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing certifications preferred.
• Ability to lift 25–50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all hotel equipment, systems and building components.
• Install and exchange lighting fixtures and replace bulbs as needed.
• Perform visual inspections and operational tests on machinery and equipment.
• Address customer inquiries in a courteous and timely manner.
• Collaborate with supervisors and peers to diagnose issues and plan repairs.
• Coordinate with the Chief Engineer on assigned projects.
