Job summary

Kasa is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Lakeshore Chicago on a part-time basis. You will own on-the-ground operations, perform preventive maintenance, and act as the on-site face of Kasa with guests and colleagues.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will collaborate with the Property Operations support team and Guest Experience team. The role emphasizes maintaining equipment, coordinating with engineers, and delivering high-quality guest experiences across shifts that may include

Qualifications

• Experience as hotel engineer or maintenance in a similar setting.
• Able to lift 25-50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment, systems and building components.
• Install and replace lighting fixtures and bulbs as needed.
• Perform visual inspections and tests on machinery and equipment.
• Address customer inquiries promptly and courteously.
• Coordinate with Chief Engineer on assigned projects.
