Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold high standards of property upkeep and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include repairing rooms, performing preventive maintenance, handling work orders, and maintaining records while following safety procedures and company policies.

Ideal candidates will have a HS diploma or GED and the ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.

Qualifications

• Read and speak English proficiently and interact with guests, associates and vendors.
• Understand and follow safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and company guidelines.
• Write routine reports and correspondence.
• Perform basic math and use measurement units.
• Apply good judgment in routine and emergent situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance to ensure guest rooms and property are in good repair.
• Respond to guest requests and complete work orders promptly according to standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections per Binder and SOPs.
• Keep maintenance areas clean, organized and secure inventory.
• Assist with emergency responses and coordinate with management.
