Job summary

Extended-Stay-Hotel in Evansville, IN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep guest rooms and property in excellent condition. You will ensure all equipment works, perform repairs from work orders, and conduct preventative maintenance with strict attention to safety and cleanliness.

You will collaborate with management to address guest requests promptly, maintain accurate logs, and support emergency responses.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to follow safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and company guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates commitment to delivering the best possible experience for guests and associates.
• Works with minimal supervision while performing duties to satisfaction and company standards.
• Responds to guest requests with diligent follow-through per guidelines and procedures.
• Performs out-of-room cleaning to keep premises pristine, including debris removal and snow/ice clearing where applicable.
• Performs repairs listed on work orders promptly and professionally.
• Completes preventative maintenance inspections and repairs as outlined in the Green Shield Binder.
• Follows the Green Shield Inspection schedule daily to meet company standards.
• Maintains records such as PM deficiencies, inspections, and safety logs.
• Uses SOPs and Green Shield workflow to complete tasks per standards.
• Keeps maintenance areas clean and secures tools inventory daily.
• Maintains boiler rooms, electric/HVAC/fire sprinkler rooms per standards and local ordinances.
• Ensures fire safety equipment is operational and inspections are current.
• Complies with ESA safety policies and ADA requirements.
