Job summary

Hilton Phoenix Chandler seeks a Maintenance Engineer to uphold safety, cleanliness, and guest comfort across the property. You’ll respond to repair requests, perform preventative maintenance, and document work orders to ensure timely completion while adhering to health and safety codes.

Candidates should have technical or vocational training, at least two years of related facility experience, a positive, team-focused attitude, strong communication, and the ability to work varied shifts including

Qualifications

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of work-related experience in a commercial facility, hospitality or related field preferred.
• Can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow guidelines and procedures.
• Ability to handle pace and pressure.
• Listening and conflict resolution skills.
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
• Desire to serve guests.

Responsibilities

• Respond to repair requests and document completion through the electronic work order platform.
• Perform preventative maintenance on rooms and public spaces and keep PM program up to date.
• Follow safety measures and report emergencies to supervisor; ensure health codes are followed.
• Conduct full property walks at shift start and end; note and complete maintenance needs.
• Keep maintenance areas clean and well-organized during shifts and before departure.
