Job summary

Marriott Miami Dadeland is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our hotel operations in Miami, FL. The role involves responding to guest repair requests, performing preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, and ensuring all systems are safe and functional.

You’ll carry equipment, locate shut-offs, and maintain an accurate pass-on log before shifts. Responsibilities include following safety policies, using PPE, and reporting safety hazards promptly to management.

Responsibilities

• Follow company and department safety and security policies and procedures to ensure a clean, safe, and secure environment.
• Use proper equipment, wear appropriate personal protective clothing (PPE), and employ correct lifting procedures, as necessary, to avoid injury.
• Move up and down a ladder and service ramps.
• Carry all equipment to maintain preparedness to carry out work tasks at all times.
• Respond to guest repair requests and perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment.
