The Long Bay Resort in Miami, Florida, is seeking Maintenance Technicians to perform repair, preventative, and emergency maintenance across guest rooms, public areas, and grounds. Qualifications

• Weekend availability; may require varying schedules including weekends and holidays.
• Must have prior experience in maintenance/trades.
• Strong customer service skills and a passion for helping others.
• Knowledge of hotel operations is a plus.
• Proven job reliability, diligence and attention to detail.
• Teamwork and collaboration; clear, professional communication with guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and maintains hotel systems to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Responds to front desk reports and completes actions as requested.
• Performs preventative maintenance, repairs and recommendations for mechanical, electrical, refrigeration and plumbing systems.
• Executes scheduled tasks to meet resort standards.
• Performs painting, carpentry, plumbing and other maintenance tasks as needed.
• Maintains clean, safe storage areas and reporting of issues to Chief Engineer.
